We are seeking an Interior Designer to join our Hartford office. Candidates must have excellent problem-solving and verbal presentation skills. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to project teams on a broad range of project types and scales, in collaborative work environments.
Roles Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of the design and documentation
- Generate programming studies, space planning concepts, and conceptual design options under the direction of a Senior Designer
- Coordinate with consultants, product reps, and furniture dealers
- Execute construction documents in Revit
- Assist in construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and site visits
Experience Qualifications:
- A professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution
- 2 years of professional experience in a commercial design firm
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills - Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office
- Proficiency with SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop preferred
